It takes skilled, dedicated workers to improve and maintain our ten-acre cemetery. Over two-thirds of our budget goes for landscape expenses, including regular mowing, road and trail maintenance, monument repair, and the constant battle with invasive blackberries and ivy. All of this care\u2014about half paid for by donations\u2014results in a cherished, park-like space, an arboretum open to all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although some grant support is available, large projects are typically funded by individual gifts. For example, generous donors have paid to restore the interior marble walls of Hope Abbey<\/a>, completely resurrect the lovely sheen of its terrazzo floor, and perform major structural repairs. If you can think of other cemetery projects you\u2019d like to support, please tell us. We\u2019ll be happy to work with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
