Remarkably, it is also an active, <a href=\"http:\/\/eugenemasoniccemetery.org\/index.php\/cemetery-services\">operating cemetery<\/a>. Established in 1859, Eugene\u2019s first chartered cemetery includes pioneers, such as city founder Eugene Skinner and artist Maude Kerns. The cemetery retains \u201cMasonic\u201d in its name, as an important historic reference, but is no longer officially affiliated with the Masonic Lodge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Donations to Eugene Masonic Cemetery Association qualify for the <strong>Oregon Cultural Trust<\/strong> tax credit.
