Elizabeth has been an EMCA Board Member since 2018. She was drawn to the board because of her love of historic cemeteries and is currently serving as the chair of the cemetery Site Committee. Elizabeth has organized many successful volunteer-driven grave marker cleaning work parties and has been instrumental in initiating a recent grave marker repair project, which she hopes will continue to be a priority for the board.
There is absolutely nothing in Elizabeth’s professional or educational background that explains her interests in historic cemeteries but she sees the Eugene Masonic Cemetery as a unique space to be shared with and respected by the community as a whole.
